Appointment Guidelines

At Attentive Counseling Services, it's our priority to ensure our clients, our staff, and all our families remain safe during the Coronavirus Outbreak.  

What are the safety procedures for In-Person Counseling?

  • Waiting room is not utilized by anyone other than clients with appointments. Clients cannot bring any additional parties into the office with them. If clients are minors, one guardian will be permitted into the office.
  • Masks are encouraged to be worn by clients when in the front office waiting area, hallways, bathroom, and all common areas. 
  • Appointments can be scheduled at intervals, to minimize how many people are in the waiting room at one time. 
  • Hand Sanitizer is provided in all therapy rooms and waiting area.
  • Clients are encouraged to use the restroom before coming to the office. Office restrooms are used by other offices within the building and are not covered under Attentive Counseling Services’ Covid-19 procedures.
  • No hand shaking or hugging is permitted.
  • I-pads are sanitized after each use. 
  • All Copays, Deductibles, Coinsurances, and out of pocket payments are due at time of service. NO CASH. Credit card only. 
  • All Attentive Counseling Services Staff are fully vaccinated per CMS Clinic guidelines.

What is the Check In/Check Out Process for In-Person Counseling?

  1. If clients feel sick, under the weather, running a fever, sore throat, etc., they are required to call front staff and change their appointment to teletherapy before their appointment start time. 
  2. Clients must arrive 5 minutes before their appointment.
  3. Before entering the suite, Clients will use provided hand sanitizer. 
  4. Front desk will start check in procedures with client and notify counselor upon arrival.
  5. Counselors will escort clients through clinic before and after appointment. Clients will leave using staff only doors and not through the waiting area.
  6. Once clients leave any room within our suite, staff will sanitize all chairs and surfaces the client was in direct contact with.

Client Parking

Parking is located at the Broad Street Parking Lot (across the street from Ace Hardware) or along State Street and Grand Avenue. There are two entrances to the building: 


  • The rear entrance can be accessed from the North-West corner of the parking lot or through the private park across the street from Bagels & More. 
  • Those needing elevator access will need to use the main entrance on Grand Avenue, located between Edward Jones and Walnut Creek Apparel. 


Our suite, 208 is on the second floor.
